Seed depth over 3/4″ deep, some only 1/2″ deep. Larger seeds can go to an inch deep; any deeper and they lose 60% no stand.
What To Do- Plant when the soil breaks in your hands, or crumbles. Drills will not stick for good placement. 80% + success.
Calif. Climate Zones- Consider winds on Dry sand. 24-hour soils, since we have irrigation, the time it takes for the soil to get wet and doesn’t dry out.
